Overview

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) involves a number of activities and initiatives that businesses can implement to achieve high search engine rankings. SMstudy Certified SEO professional will be able to address both on-page and off-page ranking factors that can impact a website’s or web page’s search engine rankings for specific search terms, resulting in a high placement in a search engine’s “organic,” or “natural,” or “unpaid” search results.
Successful candidates will be awarded the SMstudy Certified SEO Professional certification by SMstudy after passing the certification exam.

Prerequisites

There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is mandatory to complete the SMstudy® Certified Digital Marketing Professional Certification and study the recommended processes from the SMstudy Guide – Digital Marketing book before applying for the SMstudy® Certified SEO Professional exam. All the required resources are also provided as part of the online certification course.

How to Apply

Register on SMstudy.com and apply for the SMstudy® Certified Search Marketing Professional exam (OR) Attend a classroom training provided by a SMstudy A.T.P. and then register for exam on SMstudy.com
Apply for the exam by paying USD 300 or by using the access provided by a SMstudy A.T.P. You need to submit relevant documents (if required).
Access the online course and take the exam
- Access the online course on ‘SMstudy® Digital Marketing’. Go through chapter 7 and relevant reference materials.
- Schedule the 90 minutes proctored exam.
- SMstudy verifies the application; confirms the exam date & time.
- Take the proctored exam online.
Upon successful completion of the exam get an online certificate.
- Your name will be added to the SMstudy Certification Registry.
- The physical certificate will be shipped to you.
- If unable to pass the exam, you can schedule again and take a maximum of two free exam retakes.
